Kamran Quraishi, M.D.

Dr. Kamran Quraishi is the Chief Medical Officer for Impact Physician Group. As a specialist in post acute medical care, Dr. Quraishi works with the Impact Physician Group partners to set the standards of comprehensive medical care for patients in post acute care. Similarly he guides the internal medicine practice in inpatient rehabilitation hospitals/units. With his partners, Dr. Quraishi built an advanced medical management model to close the gap from the acute care hospital to the post acute setting. The outcomes are demonstrated in improved patient outcomes, lower readmission rates, and improved functional status by management of medical conditions. The Impact Physician Group providers primarily practice in Long Term Acute Care Hospitals, Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals/units and Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation Facilities.

Dr. Quraishi has an undergraduate degree in Sociology and Biology from the University of Louisville, Louisville, KY, and a graduate degree from Indiana University/Purdue University, Indianapolis, IN . He was awarded a doctorate in Medicine from Saba University School of Medicine, Netherlands, Antilles, where he received the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Clinical Studies. His residency was at St. Mary’s Health Center, St. Louis, MO.

He is a member of both the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Quraishi works with on-boarding of new providers to the Impact Physician Group and supports the work of the physician Vice Presidents in operations. Dr. Quraishi stays involved in direct medical care to assure his continuing practice skills and application of the medical management model.
